Center. Shoots right. 6'3", 211 lbs. Born, Regina, Sask., Canada, May 10, 1985.
22-year-old C Ryan Getzlaf led the Ducks in scoring this season with 82 points (24 goals, 58 assists) and posted a team-best +32 rating in 77 games. Getzlaf ranked third in the NHL among scorers aged 22 and younger, trailing Washington's Alex Ovechkin (112) and Pittsburgh's Evgeni Malkin (106), who ranked 1-2 in the League overall. He set a franchise single-season record for most assists by a Ducks center, surpassing the mark set by Andy McDonald on two occasions, most recently in 2006-07 (51).

Getzlaf recorded a career-high 15-game point streak (6-16--22) from Dec. 22 to Jan. 23, tying for the second-longest point streak in franchise history and the longest by a Duck since Teemu Selanne registered points in 17 consecutive games from Feb. 3 to Mar. 10, 1999 (15-14--29).

In 2006-07 - just his second NHL campaign - Getzlaf led the Ducks in postseason scoring en route to the Stanley Cup. Getzlaf tallied 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 21 games, eclipsing his 2006 postseason points total by 10. He tied for second place League-wide in game-winning goals with three.
