RW Brian Gionta rebounded from an injury-shortened, 45-point season in 2006-07 to record 53 points (22 goals, 31 assists). He was one of four Devils to appear in all 82 games, joining forwards Sergei Brylin, Travis Zajac and Dainius Zubrus.
Gionta led New Jersey with eight goals in 11 games during the 2007 Stanley Cup Playoffs, including a franchise-record five-game goal-scoring streak from Apr. 18-28. The only NHL player with a longer postseason streak in the past decade was Ottawa's Martin Havlat in 2006 (six games).
